The Recycled Cardboard Zoo is an ingeniously designed activity set that lets children play zookeeper in an animal sanctuary that they design, color, and populate with friendly people and animals. Everything is included for children to play and pretend, and it has been manufactured to be easy for younger children to use and assemble. Featured animals in the zoo are velvet-flocked for a cool fuzzy feel, while the other people, animals, and accessories are organized on sticker pages and punch-out sheets. Some are already colored, but most give children the opportunity to choose their own colors for the zoo’s resident and visitors.

The packaging of the Recycled Cardboard Zoo opens to reveal a big playmat that children can color and decorate any way they wish with six dual tipped, washable markers and over thirty color-in stickers. A cardboard zoo base has enclosures for five unique habitats, and colorful papers are included to decorate each habitat for accommodating specific animals from different regions of the world. Constructed with a specially crafted stand and translucent blue screen, the aquarium has an underwater appearance. Plenty of items are already supplied, but kids can also go green by recycling everyday household items. Part of an egg carton can become a cool little igloo for the penguins, while any cardboard box can be cut into different shapes for adding even more animals and decorations to the cardboard zoo.
